Weepies and Tearjerkers

The Green Mile, 1999

This is a great story, but I've given it the maximum rating of 4 tears. There are so many bits where only the hardest hearted person could resist a few sniffles.
If you're an animal soppy, there's a scene involving a mouse which will set you off, and of course since the whole film is about someone on death row, it leads up to an extended climax where I sobbed so hard I couldn't keep quiet.
Fantastic film, but never again.
